Today, one of my best friends asked if I remembered how we met. I said no. She said that what happened was that she sat behind me, and when I turned around, I saw her pulling a Jack Sparrow pencil case from her bag. My reaction was "JACK SPARROW!!! HE'S SO AWESOME!" We then spent the rest of the class ranting and we have been bffls ever since. (<3 Prisci)

I want to tell you guys about two wonderful things that happened yesterday. They are both entirely true, I promise. One is about me and the other is about my eldest brother.

When I got out of the movie theatre, I was walking to the outside of the mall to wait with my friend. As we walked, I noticed a little boy crying out of the corner of my eye. I immediately stopped walking and turned back towards the little boy. I soothed him and told him that I would help him find his mum. I asked him his name, and he told me it was Marco through sobs. A security guard came over, but I couldn't leave him. So I took out my cellphone and asked if he knew his mum's number and her name. He knew both, so I called his mum and took him to her by the store she was at. I felt so much better knowing I had helped him. My friend then told me she hadn't even noticed the little boy crying.

Later on that day, my mother and I were on the couch watching TV when my eldest brother and his fiance walk in.They look like they are preparing to say something, so I turn towards them to listen. He told us that as they were driving home on the highway, he noticed a box on the side that seemed to be moving. It turned out that there was a German Shepard puppy inside of it. Someone had just abandoned the week old puppy. If it would have gotten out of the box, it would either have been run over on the highway or gotten killed by an animal in the grass. Bailey (as we have named her) is now safe and sound, living with us.

When I saw the puppy and the fact that it barely could walk, I hugged my brother.
"Why did you hug me?" he asked.
"Because most people wouldn't have seen the box."

So this post is for all the people who always see the box and hear the crying child. You are what make the Christmas Spirit live and thrive. Thanks to you all and happy holidays.

Life is annoying. People are annoying. Friends who are supposed to be helpful, but aren't, are annoying. I may just disappear into dreamland. Oh, and an ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.

Have you seen New Moon? If so, how do you think it compared to the book? Was it better or worse than Twilight? Please, no spoilers!

It was most definatetly(sp?) better than Twilight. It also stayed as close to the book as a movie adaptation can.
